Back in 2018, our chef Edgar Orduño flew from Mexico to Belgium for a culinary internship under Hertog Jan. During this time, Edgar visited Kortrijk and met Feysal and Louis (founders of Nude and Spicy Lemon).
And that’s when the idea for Choclo was born.
Together we work hard to incorporate traditional ingredients, recipes and techniques into everything that reaches your senses.
As an experienced cocktail magician and first-hand spicy food connoiseur, we are thrilled to have Edgar lead this venture into the aromas, textures and flavors of Latin American culture and cuisine.
In every Kurkumama Group restaurant we believe that just like food, love is a universal language! We love connecting cultures and care for the world as a family. That is why for every water bottle you order, we donate € 0,50 to Charity: Water.
